The name of the winery comes from some ruines still located to Roggeri area close to the wine cellar. Luigi Oberto created the winery in 1960 and has grown grapes until 2005 when he died. Now the son Marco and the daughter Paola manage the winery. They have about a vineyard 12 ha large. All the vineyards are located on the important crus of Santa Maria area like Roggeri, San Biagio, Rive and Capallotti.
