Elio Altare is an important person of La Morra because he signs forever the wine world. He is a precursor and an example for many young winemakers of the area that, years ago, challenged himself. The result is indisputable. To the family winery Elio, Lucia his wife and Silvia one of his daughter, participate to all the steps of the production. The wines are simple and natural in harmony with family life philosophy: the respect of the plant, the respect of the environment and the respect of the persons. With his new projects Elio carries on the same way: white wine production to Cinque Terre, restoration of a hamlet to Castelmagno with production of Castelmagno cheese, officinal herbs growing and proper fruit and vegetable organic garden.
