The farmhouse Il Gelso is one of the first in the area to have started activity. The Mulberry tree, the symbol of the agriturismo, is an ancient tree from which the leaves were used to feed silkworms to obtain the famous yarnThe Agriturismo il Gelso is a typical farmhouse in a panoramic position in the small village of Croera, about 800 metres from the centre of La Morra.
You will be welcomed by the hosts, Marisa and Martina, who will immediately put you at ease. You will find a quiet, cosy place, with a spectacular view, where you can have an abundant zero-kilometre breakfast and taste the wines produced by the family winery accompanied by cold meats, cheeses and traditional Langa dishes.
Il Gelso is suitable for those who want to spend a peaceful holiday in a family environment, in direct contact with nature, and offers rooms and flats with a large terrace and a view over the valley of Barolo and the Langa hills.
It is possible to organise tastings of their own wines with Franco or Martina with a visit to the cellar; and for groups to organise merende sinoire and guided walks in the family vineyards.
