The Il Gelso farmhouse is one of the first in the area to have begun its activity. The Mulberry tree, symbol of the agriturismo, is an ancient tree from which the leaves were used to feed silkworms to obtain the famous yarn.
Agriturismo il Gelso is a typical farmhouse in a panoramic position in the small village of Croera, about 800 metres from the centre of La Morra, in the heart of the Langhe and its wonderful castles.
You will be welcomed by the hosts, Marisa and Martina, who will immediately put you at ease. You will find a quiet, cosy place, with a spectacular view, where you can have an abundant breakfast and taste the wines produced by the family winery accompanied by cold meats, cheeses and traditional Langhe dishes. Il Gelso is suitable for those who want to spend a peaceful holiday, in direct contact with nature, and offers rooms and flats with large terraces and views of the Barolo valley and the Langa hills.
Possibility with Franco of guided walks in the family vineyards, cellar visits and wine tasting.
